Reaching out to smallholder farming communities is our speciality. If it is the first contact contact with organic farming or following up with farmers that have already been trained KATC uses a wide range of different methodologies like demonstration plots, field days , follow-up visits, farmer field schools, Radio programs and onsite/farm training to help farmers to advance and to deepen their understanding of organic farming.
Demonstration Plots
About 30 demonstration plots are set up in Chongwe district every rainy season.
Field Days
These are held in February/March at each demonstration plot.

Radio Programs
Since 2001, KATC runs an agricultural radio program in collaboration with Yatsani community radio based in Lusaka. KATC also runs radio programs with Radio Christian Voice and ZNBC.
